I've been using these in all my shoes for a couple of months, and overall, I think they are great. I do not have flat feet, but both my feet pronate (tilt inward when I step) which puts excess pressure on the large metatarsal joint causing pain. The posting and arch support helps to prevent the pronation and the metatarsal support helps reduce metatarsal joint discomfort. So far, they have held up quite well. Surprisingly, they can feel quite different depending on the shoe they are in. In my work shoes (New Balance 622) the metatarsal support feels like walking on golf balls, and it took some time to get use to. In my boots, with a firm stable sole, they feel great and the metatarsal support feels broad and much more gentle. In other shoes they can feel a bit different still.
