These shoes are great for the little ones. Bought for my kindergarten aged daughter to take to school for PE. One simple velcro closure strap at the top that she can easily get on and off (and not get in trouble for taking too long to tie). No worries about shoes coming untied or tripping over loose laces, but they still look like "big kid" shoes. This is the second pair we've purchased. They do wear out rather quickly, but what shoes don't with young, active kids?
I purchased these for my 4 year old son after the dog ate his last pair. The shoes are just fine -- true to size but nothing particularly special. My son has sensory issues and couldn't tolerate a different shoe so soon after acclimating to these. Amazon is wonderful for just this purpose: when you can't find it elsewhere, you can usually find it here. However, you never know what you'll have to pay. In this case, I imagine I paid full price, if not more.
