This was the third pair of Chaco sandals I had purchased. They are my summer shoe as they have complete arch support, and put spring in my step. The thick rubber sole gives me energy with every walk even through the cobblestone streets of Sevilla Spain, and southern Portugal. I had my first pair resoled and it was well worth it. I have owned Teva, Merrell, Keen, and even Mephisto, but these are the best shoes I have ever owned. I also have Chaco hiking boots, and a pair of Chaco shoes. I am a wildlife biologist and live in my shoes, and I use the sandals in the field crossing creeks and climbing rocks all the time. they are perfect for grunnion greeting on the beach at night too.

These are the best sandals I have ever owned! The custom fit is nice, I have very thin feet and sandals generally fit very poorly. These are very comfortable and very sure footed when wet. I have Plantar Faciatis and this is one of the few shoes ......
