My husband couldn't say enough nice things about these shoes. They do run small. He typically wears a size 10.5 and we actually had to exchange the size 11.5 for a size 12.

I bought them to replace my Pearl Izumi Peak ones. The grip and toe box are better then peak one. One note they run about half a size smaller.

This shoe does not have a ton of support to it. They are comfortable to run in right out of the box. They give you plenty of feel for the ground, while not giving too much. They set low to the ground, and offer some protection where needed, but are not weighed down with unnecessary protection. Some might like a little more to a trail shoe, but I found these to be perfect for the feel I like. Be aware, they run a half size small. I have over 500 miles on the pair I wore this summer, and have two more pair ready for spring. I love this shoe.
