I'm a size 33-34 in waist so I bought the large size. Defiantly wish I went with the medium. It runs big. Please consider that before you purchase.
This is a decent harness for a person that has just started climbing and needs a harness. My next one will be something that is easier to put on and not quite as bulky. I have a hard time double backing the waist strap and the leg straps don't feel as snug as I would like them to be.
I bought this harness after recently getting into indoor climbing and getting tired of the rental harnesses (it didn't take long). I really love it -- it's lightweight, extremely strong, and reasonably comfortable when I'm hanging from it, trying to get my grip back on the wall after coming off. The fit is good, the padding is comfortable, and the gear loops are quite strong. I recently brought my camera with me to the gym and wanted some photos of friends climbing the walls.
